Who are you?
My name is Bakari Evelyn, and I love my hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Some of my accomplishments include 4x state championships in high school, 3x in Michigan and 1x in Arizona. I was a top Rivals150 kid in high school, finished first team all-state 3x, high school all-time leading scorer and assist. I’m proud to have the distinction of being the fastest player to 1,000 points in the school’s history and top 4 in steals all time. I played basketball for three Div.1 schools (Nebraska University, Valparaiso University, and the University of Iowa), I won the Savannah Invitational MVP in 2018 and made the MVP all newcomer team in 2018. I’ve played professionally for 3 teams: Germany, France, and Mexico. I love to read books, watch podcasts, and spend quality time with family & friends. My favorite movies are (I have 4, each one for a different category) He’s Got Game, The Count of Monte Cristo, Life, and Paid in Full.
